Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant plays a pivotal role in our finance department, contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. This position involves overseeing various accounting functions, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Month-end and Year-end Close: Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports within established timelines.
General Ledger Management: Maintain and update the general ledger, recording financial transactions accurately and categorizing expenses appropriately.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial insights and recommendations to management.
Accounts Receivable and Payable: Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and payments.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data, trends, and variances, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
Tax Compliance: Collaborate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with tax regulations and timely submission of tax returns.
Audit Support: Assist in the coordination of external audits and ensure all required documentation is readily available for auditors.

Qualifications:
